What is the Appearance Quality of ACSR?

Steel core aluminum strand is a kind of steel wire which is made of multi-twisting in one-time according to its stipulation use the prepared steel wire on the machine. Steel strands have aluminum clad steel strands, galvanized steel strands, and prestressed steel strands. What is the appearance quality of the strand?

1.The appearance surface of the stranded aluminum coil steel wire should be smooth and no exposed steel is allowed. Twisting should be even and tight, there should be no wire, broken wire, loose strands, broken skin and other phenomena, should not be loose after cutting.

2.The surface appearance of the steel wire of the galvanized steel strand should be coated with a uniform and continuous layer of zinc, without defects such as spot defects, cracks and missing plating. Each steel wire in the galvanized steel strand shall be tightly twisted and shall not be staggered, broken or bent. The strand diameter and lay length should be uniform and not loose after cutting.

3.The surface of the pre-stressed steel strand twisted shall not contain substances such as lubricants and oil stains that reduce the bond strength between the steel strand and the concrete. The surface of the steel strands is allowed to have slight floating rust,but shall not rust into a pit of hemp visible to the naked eye.
