Characteristic of Multi-core Overhead Insulated Cable

Polyethylene, PVC insulated cable long-term allowable working temperature does not exceed 70 ℃, XLPE insulated cable long-term allowable working temperature does not exceed 90 ℃. The short-circuit (within 5 seconds) polyethylene insulated cable allows operating temperature does not exceed 130 ℃, PVC insulated cable does not exceed 160 ℃, XLPE insulated cable does not exceed 250 ℃.

The ambient temperature of the installation is not lower than -20 ℃. If the outer diameter of cable is less than 25mm, the permissible minimum bending radius is 4 times of the outer diameter of the cable. If the outer diameter of the cable is 25mm or more, the minimum bending radius is 6 times of the outer diameter of the cable. The minimum bending radius shall not be less than 15 times the sum of the outer diameter of the cable and the outer diameter of the conductor. The single core cable shall not be less than 20 times the sum of the outer diameter of the cable and the outer diameter of the conductor.
